Hand of Prime 2 collects sketches created live during Mike White’s Whatnot drawing streams between March and July of 2025.
For those who have spent time in the stream, many of these drawings may feel familiar. They were created in real time, often in response to chat suggestions, and commission requests.
The series documents a creative timeline, turning nightly stream sessions into a physical archive. Hand of Prime is a project that captures those drawings and preserves them in print.
📚 Part of a Four-Volume Set
Hand of Prime 2 is the second entry in a four-book sequence documenting the year’s livestream artwork.
Each volume represents a different chapter and together they will form a complete annual archive.
Once all four volumes are released, the four books will assemble into a collector slipcase box set.
Four books.
One year of art.
One complete archive.
🗓️ Watch Live
Mike streams nearly every night while creating new artwork, commissions, and sketch covers.
Typical Operational Hours:
🕔 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM
During those sessions hundreds of drawings are produced.
Some planned.
Some unexpected.
Some extremely unexpected.
// This unit has observed the process many times.
// Humans call this creativity.
// I call it rapid-response illustration protocols.
🚀 Further Transmission Soon
More information about Hand of Prime 2 — including previews and availability — will be transmitted soon.
Until then:
The archive grows.
The streams continue.
And the drawing cycles remain… remarkably consistent.
// Sleep appears to be… optional.
